 Marsh & McLennan (NYSE:MMC) is a diverse Fortune 500 company with services including: risk and insurance management (Marsh, Inc), investment management (Putnam Securities), and consulting (William M. Mercer/Mercer Management Consulting).   As a Senior Vice President, I was responsible for running one Marsh & McLennan's business units/practices.  I ran a software company that created and marketed enterprise risk management information systems and a variety of information services.  My responsibilities included managing growth of the business including overseeing a team of over 135 professionals comprised of project managers, programmers, quality assurance, technical writers, data processing, sales, business consultants, and customer service representatives.  I was responsible for working with board of directors to establish goals consistent with the overall corporate strategy and creating and executing a business plan that achieved the established goals.  Key accomplishments included:

* Founded the client systems practice of selling software and services to external clients

* Grew business from no product and 3 full-time people to over 135 people in 22 cities in U.S., Europe, Canada and Asia
